8 yr old: "No, it's not."
5 yr old: "Yes, it is."
8 yr old: "No, IT IS NOT."
5 yr old: "Yes, it is SISSY."
8 yr old: "Nanny, he keeps saying it's almost Easter."
Me: "It's okay."
8 yr old: "No, it's not. Nanny, you always let him say things that aren't true."
5 yr old: "I don't say things that are not true."
8 yr old: "Yes, you do. Everyone does."
5 yr old: "NANNY, SISSY CALLED ME A LIAR!"
8 yr old: "NO, I DID NOT ... HE'S LYING!"
5 yr old: "SEE ... SHE CALLED ME A LIAR!"
8 yr old: "NOT WHEN YOU SAID I DID. IT WAS AFTER THAT!"
5 yr old: "You still did it."
8 yr old: "It's okay, Bubby. Everyone has told a lie."
5 yr old: "Not Jesus. Or God."
8 yr old: "You forgot the Holy Spirit. Also known as the Holy Ghost."
5 yr old: "Jesus rised from the dead on Easter."
8 yr old: "Nanny, is it almost Easter?"
